HASTINGS CENTRE NEWS

12th February 2015

Bootfairs, baby ballet, and Brave!

From family film nights to Valentine's with a twist, we've got the rest of February covered at the Hastings Centre!

Thank you to everyone who took part in Coffee Box's straw poll to choose our next family film. We're excited to announce that during the the February half-term break we'll be showing [drumroll please...] Brave! Following the huge successes of our last two events, we'll be emerging from the winter season with this heart-warming Disney adventure featuring a defiant Scottish princess (PG) on Saturday 21 February. Doors open at 5pm, drinks and snacks are available from our licensed bar, and in keeping with the theme of the evening we want to see your best Scottish costumes! Bring the kids, cousins, aunts, grandmas – we look forward to seeing you here!

And, if you're looking for somewhere to be this Valentine's Day, come to visit our indoor bootfair. We've been hosting regular charity bootfairs on the second Saturday of each month, and with more opportunities to buy, sell, meet new faces and give to worthwhile local causes, why not join us for our next event? Please contact Andy Moule on 01424 718400 or 07711 077212 for more information on running a stall or coming along. We'll be running the fair on Saturday 14 February between 10am-12pm, and all proceeds will go to local charities such as Surviving Christmas, the Snowflake Project, Hope Kitchen and Hastings Foodbank.

Don't forget that the Hastings Centre is a high-quality, versatile venue that can be used for all kinds of events. We have numerous regular bookings taking place across the week, including within Coffee Box. With Baby Ballet, Tumbletots and Totz Klub for the kids; Ridgeway Dance classes running mornings and evenings across the week; Street 20 cricket; various fitness classes including Tomboogie, Fitsteps, Marie Dove Fit Club, Weight Watchers and Power Hoop; St Leonards Bridge Club; and King's Church meetings every Sunday morning and evening, there really is something for everyone.

For more information about our regular bookings, please email hello@hastingscentre.co.uk or call 01424 753322. Alternatively, you can host your own event with us. Why not plan a film night with friends in one of our various rooms, or throw a party in Coffee Box with our licensed bar? Our in-house catering team are available to provide anything from a cold lunch for two to a three-course dinner for 100+ guests, so make an enquiry today.

There's plenty going on at the Hastings Centre this month, and we'd love to see you at one of our events or to host one of yours. Get in touch with us today to see what we can do for you.
